Dr Shazia Naser-ud-Din

Dr Naser-ud-Din has a PhD in Orthodontics from University of Adelaide – looking at muscle spindle reflexes and developing predictive equations in order to obviate the need for invasive investigations. This work has now been published in JDR, AJODO and Orthodontic & Craniofacial Research journals.  Dr Naser-un-Din received her MSc from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute London UK while working with rare earth magnets. Dr Naser-ud-Din is actively involved in academia and is recipient of FICCDE (2006) along with HPE-DCPSP in Health Professional Education. Dr Naser-un-Din has several publications to her credit including text book, book chapters and presentations. She is a postgraduate supervisor with strong support from Orthodontist specialist team in Queensland.
Dr Naser-ud-Din is instrumental at coordinating international collaborations for both research and teaching. She is currently Discipline Lead Orthodontics at Dental School UQ and here too has introduced new and innovative teaching methodologies and SBLi is an effort geared towards it.
