Dr Bowman is a member of the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists, a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a charter member of the World Federation of Orthodontists, Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy International Honor Organization, and a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. He is reviewer/editorial board member for the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, World Journal of Orthodontics, Journal of Clinical Orthodontics, Hellenic Orthodontic Journal, Orthodontic Products, and OrthoTribune. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Saint Louis University where he was honored with the Alumni Merit Award in 2005, and an instructor at The University of Michigan and Case Western Reserve University. He has designed and created over a dozen orthodontic appliances and devices. Dr Bowman has lectured in 33 U.S. States and 27 countries, has had over 85 articles, book chapters, and a book, Mini-Implants in Orthodontics: Innovative Anchorage Concepts published. He has also maintained a successful clinical practice for over 25 years.
