Dr Turpin is a graduate of the University of Washington and maintained a private practice for 38 years. During that time he served as a clinical instructor at the University where he is now an affiliate professor. Dr Turpin also served as editor of the PCSO Bulletin for 10 years, The Angle Orthodontist for 11 years and is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics. This combination of experiences has helped him find satisfaction as a clinician, a teacher and a writer in the long-term search for excellence.
