Dr Sciacca has been involved in the orthodontic profession for nearly 30 years. Over the past decade, he has entered the area of lingual orthodontics and indirect bonding studying under the guidance of orthodontists from around the world including Dr. Kyoto Takemoto, Dr. Didier Fillion, Dr. Rafi Romano and Dr. Dirk Weichmann, Dr Sciacca established an orthodontic laboratory Archform Orthodontics in 2001. The laboratory has specialized in indirect bonding for both labial and lingual orthodontic treatment, offering the major techniques including TOPS, BEST, HIRO and the CLASS systems. It is now the accredited laboratory for the digital Orapix technique in Australia and New Zealand. Dr Sciacca has attended and organized numerous lectures and courses on Lingual techniques in Australia and worldwide and continues to bring cutting edge technology to orthodontics with innovative advancements in software programs and digital technology utilizing virtual diagnostic set ups and precise bracket bonding. Dr Sciacca has also presented lectures to several orthodontic practices and societies both nationally and abroad.
