Dr Schneider is Associate Professor and Head of Orthodontics in the Melbourne Dental School at the University of Melbourne. He also maintains a private practice in Melbourne and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. His general dental education was at the University of Melbourne. After general practice experience in Victoria and the UK, he attended the University of Minnesota for a Master of Science degree in Pediatric Dentistry. He spent 2 years as Assistant Professor in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Texas in San Antonio followed by the graduate program in Orthodontics at Louisiana State University, New Orleans. He has taught orthodontics at the University of Melbourne since 1984 and has lectured in Australia, USA, Mexico and the Middle East.
