Presentation:

Residents coming out of orthodontic programs are traditionally unprepared to face the challenge of opening an office on their own. They usually get little training on choosing a location, designing an office, equipping the office, and financing the entire effort. They have little skill in cash flow analysis and budgeting. As a result, they make numerous very expensive mistakes that could have been avoided. This fast paced program teaches everything  grads need to think about as they transition  into private practice.
This session will be run in addition to the Congress Program. Your attendance must be reserved in the registration process as attendance will be limited.

Presentation:

There is no doubt that working within the orthodontic profession is truly one of the most rewarding life choices  one can make on so many levels. Being a woman and  an orthodontist or orthodontic professional certainly does  have its challenges in a male dominated profession.
This luncheon will be a time to reflect upon the role of  women in our profession and the challenges they regularly face. Join other women for this inaugural luncheon as we  hear about the challenges and achievements of three  eminent female speakers in orthodontics.
This session will be run in addition to the Congress Program. Your attendance must be reserved in the registration process as numbers will be limited.
