Presentation: Residents coming out of orthodontic programs are traditionally unprepared to face the challenge of opening an office on their own. They usually get little training on choosing a location, designing an office, equipping the office, and financing the entire effort. They have little skill in cash flow analysis and budgeting. As a result, they make numerous very expensive mistakes that could have been avoided. This fast paced program teaches everything grads need to think about as they transition into private practice. |
Presentation: There is no doubt that working within the orthodontic profession is truly one of the most rewarding life choices one can make on so many levels. Being a woman and an orthodontist or orthodontic professional certainly does have its challenges in a male dominated profession. |
